Call of the Wild Package

The haunting calls of bugling elk ring through the Tetons each fall, peaking from September 10 – October 10 as the bulls round up and protect their harems, bears briskly forage in anticipation of coming hibernation, and the changing leaves create a colorful backdrop for the busy wildlife. This fall, the Wyoming Inn offers guests the opportunity to experience nature's dramatic fall show with a family-friendly four-hour Sunset Expedition through the Greater Yellowstone Geo-ecosystem with the experienced biologist/guides of Wildlife Expeditions, a division of nonprofit Teton Science Schools.

The adventure is part of a two-night Package that allows you to take advantage of the sunset hours, when animals – including the boisterous elk – are most active before returning to the Inn's home-away-from-home comforts including bedtime warm cookies with milk.
