Snowmobile Hill Climb

Don't miss out on the Jackson Hole snowmobile annual hill climb. The Jackson Hole Snow Devils will once again host this thrilling event. The event attracts thousands of people who want to watch snowmobiles and their determined drivers fight to climb and conquer the 1500-foot vertical mountain known as Snow King.

Town Square Shoot Out

The Jackson Hole Playhouse performs the Town Square Shoot Out every Mon-Sat. Watch your favorite westerns in the Saddle Rock Saloon, and then go on to watch a fully staged professional Western comedy. Rated the top attraction in Jackson Hole by Trip Advisor, this shoot out is loved by locals and visitors alike.

Fourth of July Parade

Starting at 10:30 AM, music, horses, clowns, roller skates, and classic cars will begin to travel the parade route down Snow King Avenue to Glenwood, turning on Broadway, and ending on Willow Street. Judging of the parade entries will take place as they pass the grandstand located on Town Square.

Elk Fest

Held annually one week before Memorial weekend, Elk Fest is a unique event that includes antler auctions, food, music and more. The event raises money for the Nation Elk Refuge for interpretive programs and habitat enhancement. This event has the largest collection of antlers for sale, between 6,000 and 9,000 pounds every year.

Falls Arts Festival

Recognized as one of the premier cultural events in the Rocky Mountain west, this event attracts thousands of art lovers and talented artists every year. There is music, food, wine and more than 50 events that make the festival popular.

Marathon

One of the most scenic races in North America, The Jackson Hole Marathon Events are organized by a small local group of individuals who want to share the natural beauty of the region with runners from around the globe. Events include marathon, half-marathon and relay. Courses are USATF certified. 

Old West Days

Referred to as "The Land of the Old West," Jackson Hole holds an Old West Days celebration every year. It is filled with rodeo events, theatrical entertainment, live music, crafts and tasty food. There are also historic walking tours, parades, stage coach rides and more. This event is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

Town Square Lighting Cermony

The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce hosts this favorite annual holiday event featuring a visit from Santa Claus, holiday music, Christmas carols, cookies, and hot chocolate. The ceremony is typically after Thanksgiving on Jackson's Town Square.

In downtown Jackson Hole you'll find everything from designer boutiques and fine art galleries to outdoor gear stores, quaint shops full of handmade treasures, and an excellent selection of bars and restaurants. Pop into the shops that surround Jackson's famous elk antler arch Town Square or venture through the rest of the valley.
